Electricians in Newport

Newport has a large stock of Victorian and Edwardian terraces, in areas such as Maindee, Stow Hill and Baneswell. Many have had their electrics extended bit by bit over the years. An EICR is the best first step, and from there a consumer unit upgrade, partial rewire or full rewire puts things right.

Newport has a large private rented sector, and every rented home in Wales needs an EICR at least every five years. We inspect between tenancies or arrange access with contract-holders, and carry out any remedial work the report calls for.

For offices, shops and industrial units, including the business parks and industrial estates around the city, we install three phase supplies, distribution boards, machinery supplies, LED lighting and emergency lighting, and carry out testing and planned maintenance.

We fit home chargers wherever there is off-street parking, and workplace chargers for staff and fleet vehicles on business sites.
